Party Day is a Chicago based boutique event styling and planning company for people who love to party. Our vibe is tastefully over the top and detail obsessed. We care about the details that are important to you, and thoughtfully bringing them to life. We’re passionate about handling all the things - big and small- so you can be present and actually enjoy your party, because whats more important in life than JOY?!
I’m Sabrina, owner and lead stylist at Party Day. Party Day was born out of a combination of my lifelong love of parties, hosting, and a near decade of experience in the wedding and event industry. The best part of my experience in the Chicago event industry has been the friendships and connections I’ve made with so many amazing local vendors and event experts! I’m excited to share those friends and years of experience with you to bring your party dreams to life!
My WHY
This feeling and this sweet face - this is why Party Day exists.
The running through a park, laughing so hard your face hurts kind of joy is why I do what I do. I know firsthand how fleeting these moments are and I believe there is no greater joy in life than to be present and celebrate things that matter.
And without this kiddo I wouldn’t have even started this adventure. Four years ago, a friend of a friend asked if I could help plan her son’s birthday party. I was flattered she asked, but had to decline the offer because I was managing a large event install that day. I still wanted to help her out so I sent her the spreadsheet I used to plan my own son’s first birthday party.
She was shocked that I had created a spreadsheet with all the details sorted out - every piece of decor, catering, crafts, invitations, thank you cards, and even a mood board. I was shocked that this wasn’t how everyone planned a casual birthday party!
I continued to make custom planning spreadsheets and plan virtually for small gatherings and parties, and then when time allowed, grew to in person styling and planning larger milestone celebrations and corporate events.
I’m beyond grateful for every client and friend that has trusted me with their special event. Getting to know clients and their WHY, is truly the best part of the work we do.
